3 Roll Plate Bending Machine
The 3 roll plate bending machine can roll a variety of shapes, including round, circular arc, and cone. Most 3 roll plate rolls are symmetrical and built in true pyramid style. Some are hydraulic. Others are mechanical, with a top roll that moves up and down and both lower rolls moving horizontally.
Model W11 3 roll plate roll works well over a wide range of metal plate thickness from 6mm to 60mm. Designed in pyramid style with both lower rolls fixed in position, the true pyramid roll is suitable for working with plates between 1500mm and 3000mm in width and with yield strength up to 245MPa.
The up and down movement of the 3 roll plate rolling machine is hydraulically powered. Two lower counter-rotating rolls rotate in opposite directions. The output gear of the speed reducer meshes with the input gear of the lower roll, providing the torque needed to bend the plate.
Designed to roll plates 6mm to 160mm thick, W11SNC 3 roll plate bending machine can quickly form plates into cylinders in no time. What really distinguishes this plate roll is the unique top roll that can move both laterally and vertically, not to mention the ability to pre-bend many thicknesses of plates from 4.5mm to 130mm.
The 3 roll plate bending machine has a slight advantage in cycle time since it permits pre-bending the leading edge, rolling the cylinder body and finishing off the trailing edge all while rolling in one single direction, without the need to reverse the rotation direction or of the removal and re-insertion of the plate in order to pre-bend both-ends of one plate.
