3 Roll Plate Bending Machine (Variable Axis Plate Roll W11XNC)
This variable geometry, or variable axis 3 roll plate bending machine can cold-roll plate of 245MPa yield strength to round, conical and circular arc shapes. Featuring a top roll that moves vertically and two lower rolls latterly, the 3 roll plate bending machine is built to cold roll plates of 6-60mm in thickness and 1500mm-3000mm wide.
The 3 roll plate bending machine has a slight advantage in cycle time since it permits pre-bending the leading edge, rolling the cylinder body and finishing off the trailing edge all while rolling in one single direction, without the need to reverse the rotation direction or of the removal and re-insertion of the plate in order to pre-bend both-ends of one plate.
Brief Description
Pre-bending both the leading edge and trailing edge of the plate reduces the length of unbent flat and improves rolling efficiency. Most often found in petroleum, chemical engineering, boiler, metal structure, and machinery manufacturing applications.
