Our water cooled centrifugal chiller is a kind of vapor compression refrigeration system. It mainly consists of centrifugal compressor, shell and tube condenser, full liquid shell and tube evaporator, throttling device, lubricating system and PLC controller. This water cooled centrifugal chiller is mainly suitable for places where large cooling capacity is needed. Besides, our R&D team can provide customized refrigeration unit according to your requirements for cooling/heating capacity.

Feature of water cooled centrifugal chiller
1. The twin-stage centrifugal compressors we used come with high energy efficiency ratio. On standard working conditions, the ratio can exceed the highest level (first level) according to related Chinese national standard.

2. Our water cooled centrifugal chiller has a compact structure, so only a small area is needed for the installation. To get the same cooling capacity, especially large capacity, a screw compressor needs a big oil filtering device which is not necessary to our chiller at all. Thus the weight and size of this centrifugal chiller are both greatly reduced.

3 The power voltage of our water cooled centrifugal chiller could be 380V, 6000V or 10000V as per your requirements. The higher voltage you choose, the less initial investment is needed, because you don’t need the transformer and extra installation room, and the cable cost and installation cost can be also reduced.

4. Advanced throttling devices are adopted. They can timely adjust the refrigerant flow when there are load change and working condition variation. No hysteresis phenomenon can be observed.

5. A Siemens PLC controller is available for accurate controlling, and a touch screen is mounted for displaying various operational parameters and facilitating the machine operations. The controller comes with an effective protection mechanism to avoid accident damages.

6. The oil return system in the water cooled centrifugal chiller comes with an exclusive jet pump, ensuring that the condensed oil can return in time at any load conditions.

7. The cooling capacity can be adjusted steplessly in a wide range.

8. We use the R134a refrigerant whose service life could be really long.

9. The high-speed blades of the condenser work stably, generating limited vibration and extremely low noise.

GRAD has an advanced national level testing center and various production equipments. Based on these facilities, we have developed a variety of centrifugal machines. In the testing center, the water cooled unit testing equipment and the testing device based on enthalpy potential method have been assessed and approved by the State Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Compressor Refrigeration Equipment. Our technicians in the center can independently test various industrial and commercial vapor compression cycle water cooled refrigerating machine, water cooled centrifugal chiller, water source heat pump, air cooled modular chiller, and air cooler scroll chiller.

Besides, we have a testing station for chiller with 2000 RT (ton of refrigeration). The testing range is 650RT~2000RT, while the power voltage could be 6000V or 10000V. This testing station has a reliable electrical controlling and measuring system which consists of three units—power distribution unit, controlling unit, and measuring unit. A range of protective mechanisms (interlocking device, overloading protection mechanism, etc.) and the fault alarming function are designed to keep the station safe.

The power distribution unit and controlling unit of the testing station can be operated by electric control cabinet. The electric equipment’s controller is interlocked with the corresponding main control loop. When a problem occurred, the fault alarming system will be activated. The control systems of the testing instruments are both advanced and reliable. We use a computer to collect the measured data, so the precision can be guaranteed.

Application
This water cooled centrifugal chiller can be widely used for the central air conditioning system in various buildings like hotel, shopping mall, office building, exhibition hall, airport, gym, etc. It can be also used for the air-conditioning in industries like electronics, pharmacy, light textile, biological engineering, chemical, metallurgy, electricity, machinery manufacturing, and so on.
