This wood processing machine is designed to produce wood chips. Drum chippers are commonly equipped with grooved rollers in the throat of the feed tunnel. Once a branch or log has been gripped by the rollers, the roller then transport the wood to the chipping blades at a steady rate. These rollers are a safety feature and are generally reversible in case a branch gets caught on clothing or other materials.

This drum chipper consists of the machine body, rollers, feeding devices, and a hydraulic system. As it is available in various models, this wood chipper comes in a variety of capacities, from 3-5 t/h, 8-10 t/h and 14-18 t/h. To ensure its excellent performance and long service life, the machine base is made from high strength steel plates, premium rollers equipped with flying knives and a feeding system supported by a hydraulic system. The wood chips go through the mesh and are discharged at the bottom of the machine. Any wood chips deemed unsatisfactory will go through the entire process again.
