Welded razor wire is flat, giving it an aesthetically pleasing appearance, and is a popular choice for highly populated areas. Welded razor wire mesh forms a grid with cells in the shape of lozenges, made from razor barbed reinforcement tape. Most welded razor wire is a canvas, rolled up.

This welded razor mesh is available in a canvas size of 200mm high, and features diamond shaped cells with a face of 242mm (height of the diamond: 450mm, diamond width: 190mm). The vertices are connected by strap diamonds, similar to the brackets used in the manufacturing of concertina wire and flat barrier razor wire. The length can vary up to 50 meters, which will also affect the price and installation costs of the razor mesh. As a rule, welded razor fencing ranges in length from 4 to 15 meters, as this is the size most convenient for installation of barbed wire. Before installing the razor mesh, it is necessary to prepare the frame, which is based on vertical racks made of galvanized pipes connected by transverse bars that are attached to the upper part of the grid.

The frequency setting poles are designed to make installation of the razor cloth easy in the desired length. The optimal distance between two adjacent columns should be no more than 2 meters. The razor barbed wire is attached to the posts and upper cross beams using special anchors or brackets, and the mounting must be carried out in such a way that the upper ends of the barbed wire diamonds are above the top crossbar and prevent people from climbing over.

As per customer request, a welded razor fence bottom can be buried up to 500mm underground. As the razor wire is galvanized, it does not affect moisture in the soil. After installation, the barbed wire needs no further treatment, as it is already processed for corrosion composition at the factory.
