PL/H Germicidal Lamps
The PL germicidal lamp, also known as H-shaped germicidal lamp, is fabricated by two linear tubes that are parallel to each other and are connected together at the end of each tube, and the most commonly used ones have a power range of 5-95W. Aside from standard PL germicidal lamp, we could also make use of leading-edge processing skills to combine amalgam technology with PL tube to manufacture PL amalgam lamp.
Feature
These CE and RoHS certificated bactericidal lamps have a compact structure, and this helps to cut down installation space and cost. Moreover, the tube end is far from discharge area, so the tube wall temperature is relatively lower, thereby ensuring uniform UV output.
On the other hand, there are various kinds of lamp bases, such as G23 (2P), 2G7 (4P), 2G11 (4P), G32q (4P), G10q (4P), etc. These lamp bases are usually made of plastic, but 2G11 and G10q could be fabricated from ceramic as well.
Application
Our PL germicidal lamps are widely used in air duct, HVAC system, air sterilizer, disinfection trolley and other medical apparatus for the purpose of air purification and surface sterilization, and they are also capable of disinfecting drinking water, aquarium water and so on.
Caution
When an inductive ballast is employed to start up a 2P G23 PL lamp, please pay attention to the differences between 120VAC and 230VAC. However, for electronic ballasts or 4P lamps, this problem is negligible.
