Overview of ABS Pole Wheel
The ABS pole wheel is a kind of commonly used ABS system components. It is mounted onto wheel hub of auto, and rotates with auto wheel. It generates alternating current inside ABS sensor and then transfers the AC current to ECU (electronic control unit). The ECU figures out wheel rotation speed according to change frequency of AC current.
Types of ABS Pole Wheel
Presently, this range of ABS parts is provided in three types, i.e. 80-tooth type, 100-tooth type and 120-tooth type. The 80-tooth ABS pole wheel is mainly applied to trailers and light-duty trucks of small axle load. The 100-tooth type is always used by cars, trailers, as well as medium and heavy duty trucks. The 120-tooth ABS pole wheel is well suited to special-purpose vehicles with large tires, such as outdoor excavators, cranes, dumpers, etc.
Materials of ABS Pole Wheel
Generally, our ABS tone ring is fabricated from ferromagnetic materials, 20 steel or 35 steel, and steel in grade of more than 45 won't be used. Powder metal with good magnetic conductivity can also be adopted for production.
Surface Protection
Our ABS pole wheel is treated with zinc or chrome coating for surface protection.
