Operation Modes of Freeze-Dried Drug Feeding and Discharging Unit
1. Material Feeding: The operator can use the mobile tank, metering pump and liquid feeding gun equipped to this bulk drug feeding and discharging unit to complete drug material feeding manually.

2. Material Discharging: The freeze-dried drugs can be discharged manually through the mobile tank, vacuum generator and suction gun configured to our drug feeding and discharging unit.

Introduction to Main Systems of Feeding and Discharging Unit

I. Material Feeding Integrated System

The material feeding integrated system is mainly used to convey vials from the washing-drying-filling line to the vial feeding platform through the vial conveying line.

The vial receiving height of the vial conveying line is consistent with the vial discharging height of the washing-drying-filling line. The vial discharging height of this material feeding integrated system is consistent with the vial feeding height of the freeze dryer. The conveying speed of this material feeding integrated system is consistent with the working speed of the washing-drying-filling line.

The feeding-in material receiving platform which are round-plate conveyors arranged in an S-shape is optional to be fitted to our feeding and discharging unit according to the customer's filling line capacity. The receiving capacity of the feeding-in material receiving platform can be selected based on the working speed of the washing-drying-filling line.

II. Automatic Vial Feeding and Discharging Platform System (Feeding and Discharging Platform)

The automatic vial feeding and discharging platform is connected to the shelf of the freeze dryer through floating bridge, making sure the vials will not fall during conveying. Servo motor is used to achieve precise control of the whole automatic vial feeding and discharging platform system.

When one layer of the shelf is fully filled with vials, the feeding and discharging platform will automatically get out of the drying cabinet, and the shelf of the lower layer will ascend to get ready for being filled.

The push rod which pushes the vials onto the shelves is protected with a polyamine telescopic sleeve. (This design accords with the FDA requirements.)

III. Vial Conveying System

The vial conveying system of our feeding and discharging unit for freeze dryer is not only used to convey the vials to the automatic vial feeding and discharging platform (feeding and discharging platform) in front of the freeze dryer, but also used to convey the freeze-dried vials to the aluminum capping machine. The conveyor belt is made of Habasit POM. The conveying speed is adjustable.

IV. Automatic System Feeding Vial into Drying Cabinet (Material Feeding System)
This system of our feeding and discharging unit for freeze dryer takes advantage of one servo gear motor to drive two shunt-wound modules simultaneously so as to drive the whole rank of plate to move horizontally, thereby pushing the freeze-dried vials onto the bridge plate, the free board and the shelf of the freeze dryer. This material feeding system allows the vials to be arranged in staggered rows. The second row of vials will be arranged at an angle with the first row of vials, making full use of the shelf area.

V. Automatic System Discharging Vial out of Drying Cabinet (Material Discharging System)
This system is connected to the freeze dryer in a relatively fixed way. It uses a servo gear motor to drive the modules and stainless steel pull rod and the push plate to push the vials onto the conveyor belt. Then the conveyor belt will transport the vials filled with stoppers to the aluminum capping area. The height of the conveying platform is consistent with the shelf height of freeze drying machine. The width of the push plate is the same as that of the freeze drying machine's shelf.

VI. Fan Filter Unit Protection System

Our whole fixed ALUS feeding and discharging unit for freeze dryer works under FFU laminar flow. The main operation system is equipped with double rubber gloves for emergency use. The whole unit is installed on a box-type workbench whose bottom and four lateral sides are made of SUS304 plate and whose top is made of transparent carbon polyester plate. On the top of the workbench there is FFU. Under the workbench there are four casters and four adjustable positioning pins facilitating the movement and fixing of the workbench.

Features of Laminar Flow Protection System
1. The low-noise EBM centrifugal fan whose speed is adjustable works stably and reliably.
2. The vertical-flow H14-level fluid trough high efficiency filter is able to work with uniform air flow rate to decrease leakage and meet the standard for Class A clean area.
3. Each laminar flow unit is configured with a port for PAO validation.
4. Each laminar flow unit is equipped with an air speed adjustment device and essential alarming devices for pressure difference failure and motor overload.
5. The RABS made up of transparent glass and brackets encloses the conveying system to avoid potential contamination.
6. Sterile gloves are used for the manual intervention to the materials on the conveying system.

1. Our feeding and discharging device is driven by the double-chain wheel controlled by double serve motor and is designed with a groove which can achieve automatic vial output. This design makes material discharging more stable.

2. The material feeding system of our feeding and discharging unit for freeze dryer adopts single or double power servo control mode, making the positioning of the material forward or backward movement more accurate and stable.

3. Star wheel vial counting device, double photoelectric inspection device and angular displacement control mechanism allow the vials to be arranged in regular triangle rows.
