Guide Post
Introduction
Guide post, also known as leader pin, is generally made of bearing steel and hot die steel. As the SUJ2 bearing steel is largely used, the guide post has superior durability and interchangeability in terms of the guiding performance.
This plastic mold component features premium quality, high precision and beautiful metallic luster; it has outer guiding post and inner guiding post. The guide post is generally cylindrical and generally has oil groove. The number of oil grooves increases according to the guide pillar's extended length, and the limit number of oil grooves is usually 8.

Classification
Guide post has different classifications. According to the different places of use, there are guide posts for auto mold, independent guide posts, guide posts for formwork, guide posts for stripper plate. If divided conforming to different guide directions, there are slide guide posts and rolling guide post. Following the different ways of installation, the guide posts can be divided into loading type guide post and press fit type guide post.
