HDPE Gas Pipe/Water Pipe Extrusion Line
The HDPE pipe extrusion line comes with a unique extruder screw and grooved barrel, which are specially designed to cope with high density polyethylene materials. Available also with a water jacket, the extrusion line is very efficient at plastics extrusion. The use of automatic vacuum feeder and automatic drying oven (that dries plastics at constant temperature) also enhances the overall extrusion performance.
A spiral mandrel die is used to form molten HDPE into large-diameter polyolefin pipes. It not only enables smooth, high-speed extrusion operation but also allows for low melt pressure and temperature. Designed to handle a wide range of plastic materials, the extrusion die ensures high quality pipe products.
After extrusion through a die, the hot extrudate needs to be effectively cooled to achieve the desired shape and accurate diameter. That is where our vacuum calibrator comes in. Our vacuum calibration system cools down the hot extrudate in the shortest possible time to obtain the final pipe diameter. Thanks to the automatic temperature control, water pressure control, automatic vacuum control, and sizing device, the shape-formation and cooling performance as well as the production rate is greatly improved. This also ensures the smooth, stable extrusion process.
The haul-off belts used on the HDPE pipe extrusion line are highly synchronized via the central motor drive. Made of abrasion-resistant materials, the belts provide more traction at higher speeds while offering a long service life.
