The medium consistency refiner is assembled with two discs with different tooth types. The pulp beating occurs between the two discs.
The machine’s consistency is 6-8%, between low consistency and high consistency.
This refining equipment is usually used for coarse pulping after washing the pulp.
It can also be used as a fine pulping machine before paper machine.
