Direct-reduced iron (DRI), also called sponge iron, is produced from the direct reduction of iron ore in the form of lumps or pellets by a reducing gas produced from a mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide or coal.

We provide high quality DRI processing plants as an alternative way of producing iron. Using advanced technology, the DRI production line reduces iron ore in its solid state at 1150 - 1300°C. Compared to integrated steel plants, direct reduction plants have lower operating and investment costs and work well for developing countries or where coal is in limited supply.
