Constant Tension Clamp
Did you know a hose clamp may slack off in cold conditions? When the clamp loses its clamping force, leak may result. For that reason, we've developed the constant tension clamp and added on a spring washer to compensate for the loss of clamping force. Better still, we extend the length of the steel band so that the hose is tightened all around to prevent leakage. .
When the work load gets seriously heavy, the constant tension clamp is the ideal screw hose clamp to go with, delivering constant pressure to the hose and maximum adjustability to clamp over a wider range of hoses.
Materials
W2: Steel band and worm housing constructed of AISI 430ss stainless steel. Screw is galvanized steel. Spring washer is AISI 410ss stainless steel.
W4: Steel band, worm housing, and screw are built with AISI 301ss/304ss stainless steel. Spring washer is 410ss stainless steel.
