Indexing plungers, are the standardized construction components that allow liner or rotating moving machine components with several fix point to be adjusted quickly. The indexing plunger consists of pin body, pin head, handle and internal spring. Our indexing plungers play an important role in packaging equipment, healthcare equipment, printing equipment and stage or lighting equipment, etc.

All products are made according to the international standard Elesa+Ganter standard.

Indexing plunger, Non lock-out

The plunger pin head is usually in a protruding state,
The plunger pin head will be retracted when you pull out the knob,
The plunger pin head will be protruding again owing to the built-in spring when you release the rotary knob.
Common types: YK617，YK817

Indexing plunger, Lock-out

The plunger pin head is usually in a protruding state,
The plunger pin head will be retracted when you pull out the knob,
The plunger pin head can be locked and keep retracted if the knob is rotated by 90° after being pulled out.
If you want to release this lock state, just rotating the knob by 90° when the knob is pulled out, then the plunger pin head will be protruding again owing to the built-in spring when you release the rotary knob.

Handle indexing plunger

The plunger movement can be controlled by rotating the handle.
The indexing plunger handles are used when the indexing pin needs to be retracted.
The indexing pin retracts by turning the handle by 180° and the handle will be locked by the groove.
The handle indexing plunger is designed for the occasion where the pin head can be retracted quickly.
Common types: YK722 series

Indexing plunger with flange

This indexing plunger is equipped with flange, and the direction can be adjusted.
There is no thread on the plunger, but two mounting holes on the flange section. This type indexing plunger can be fixed by lock the flange with countersunk screw.
Common types: YK608 series

Mini indexing plungers

The over length of this mini type is two third of the common one, it is designed for installation in thin walled sheet metal applications.
The hexagonal flat is visible when the plunger pin is in a retracted position so that it can be installed and tightened easily by hex wrench.
Common types: YK822 series

Indexing plungers with short thread

This type indexing plunger is characterized by small dimensions, especially the thread section is very short. So that it is suitable for installation of thin metal plate.
This type can be used to both locate and tighten the machine components due to it special shape.
The plunger pin head can be locked and keep in a position if the knob is rotated by 90° after being pulled out.
