When ground connection takes place, our MRD-LJK zero sequence current transformer, or ZSCT, detects the zero-sequence current, and it could work together with protection relays or signaling devices so as to monitor and protect power distribution systems.

    Feature
    1. The window-type current transformer uses high-quality, grain oriented, ZH120-130 cold rolled silicon steel sheet to make its iron core, and this material is imported from Japan.

    2. The iron core is manufactured by wrapping along the orientation of silicon steel sheet, and the silicon steel sheet exhibits many outstanding properties, such as smooth surface, uniform thickness, low iron loss, good magnetic property, excellent punching performance and high magnetic flux density, thus guaranteeing high precision and remarkable stability of our zero phase current transformer.

    Operating Condition
    1. Voltage grade: 0.38kV-66kV
    2. Line frequency: 50Hz
    3. Dotted terminals: If cable is wired-in from front L1 of our zero sequence current transformer, then L1 and K1 are dotted terminals.
    4. Ambient temperature: -10℃~ 60℃, and the average daily temperature shall not exceed 40℃
    5. Altitude: ≤1000m (please specify if the site altitude is higher than 1000m.)
    6. Average daily relative humidity: <95%
    7. Average monthly relative humidity: <90%
    8. Environmental requirement: Around installation site, there should be no metal, conductive dust, corrosive gas, mold or other substances that would destroy insulation.

    Installation Instruction
    1. The integrated zero sequence CT shall be installed before laying cables, and cables shall go through our CT.
    2. For an open zero sequence CT, it can be installed at any time, and here is the installation flow.
    a. Remove the connecting presser of K1 and K2.
    b. Loosen and dismantle two inner hexagon bolts on the top of our product to divide it into two parts.
    c. Fix the zero sequence current transformer to the cable, and clean two contact surfaces. Then, coat some anti-rust oil, and fasten the hexagon bolts.
    d. Reconnect the connecting presser.
Note: The two parts of open zero sequence CT should not be interchanged with those of other CTs.
