Orifice Flange
The orifice flange is often installed in a closed pipeline, used with orifice meters for measuring the flow rate of liquid, gas and stream through the pipe. N-STEEL orifice plate flange is available in weld neck flange, slip on flange and threaded flange. The combination of two orifice flanges is called orifice flange union. Each flange in this union is designed with two pipe taps for measuring the pressure drop of the flow through an orifice plate.
Standard orifice plate is a metal sheet designed with round tapping. The wall of tapped and the front face of orifice plate is at right angle. When installing the weld neck orifice flange, it has to be ensured that the orifice plate and pipe should be concentric.
