The BYQ series of automatic liquid resistance starter is developed to improve the starting performance of large and medium-sized wound rotor induction motors. It overcomes the traditional starters' shortcomings of large starting current, incapability of consecutive starts, difficult start, short service life, and frequent maintenance. It is widely used to start the wound-rotor motors of crusher, shredder, ball mill, draught fan, and water pump in petrochemical, building materials, mining, metallurgy, sugar refining, and other industries.

Basic Principle

Our automatic liquid resistance starter takes advantage of liquid resistance's large heat capacity. Connect a liquid resistor into the rotor circuit and adjust the resistance of the resistor steplessly, making it change from large to small and finally to zero so as to realize no-impact and smooth start of the motor.

Features
  • Small Starting Current
The starting current of our product is no more than 1.3 times the rated current, so no impact will be caused to the power grid.
  • Consecutive Start
Our product can start consecutively for 5 to 10 times. It causes no mechanical stress shock to the electromechanical equipment and thus can prolong the service life of the equipment.
  • Start at Low Voltage
The 380V motor can be successfully started at 340V; 6KV at 5.5KV; and 10KV at 9KV.
  • East to Operate
  • Convenient to Install and Maintain
