Customization
Besides offering a wide range of standard end mills, drill bits and reamers, CGI also offers custom cutting tools and OEM services based on the models we already have or based on new designs that will improve the production efficiency in metal and wood machining centers. Using high-quality raw materials, advanced production equipment and the latest production technology, our milling tools are high performing and long lasting. Below are steps for ordering custom cutting tools.
1. If you have designed a cutting tool, please send us dimensional drawings, and our CNC machining department will determine what kind of raw materials and coating should be used.
2. Any CNC tool can be made into mid- or high-end products, depending on customers' preference and budget.
3. For custom designed cutting tools, one of our R&D teams will be assigned to the project and will perform and analyze cutting tests after production to recommend processing parameters for manufacturing the full order.
4. If you don't have a design in mind, let us know the technical parameters such as length, shank diameter, cutter diameter, cutting edge number, raw material, precision level, spindle speed, and end type (square, ball nose, or corner radius), and we will design a product for you.
