Induction Heating Machine in Machine Tool Industry
In machine tool industry, heat treatment is most typically performed on ball screw. The ball screws have frequent contact with sliders, so they must have their wear resistance improved by heat treatment.
The rails are mostly made of GCr15. Since the rails are very long, they are inclined to be bended after hardening processing. We take a series of measures to prevent deformation. The deformation can be precisely controlled within a certain reasonable range, which has been proved by customers.

The machine is suitable for continuous scan hardening of various rail-type parts. The positioning of inductor and workpiece, as well as the scanning, are all controlled by Siemens CNC system. The connection with medium- and high-frequency power-line achieves automatic quenching and tempering.
