Seton is a professional enterprise of the research and development, production and sales of cutting blades. Seton has 330 employees and multiple processing and testing equipment. Our cutting blades and machine knives are widely used in metal cutting, paper making, corrugated cardboard, food and package industries. We can produce the most suitable blades for you according to the drawings or samples you provide. If you do not have any drawings, you only need to provide the machine's performance parameters, the type of shearing materials, the sizes and other parameters, and we will offer the drawings for you to confirm and then manufacture the needed blades.

Machining

The precision processing equipment is the effective guarantee of the product quality and precision. Seton possesses excellent lathe, milling machine, cylindrical grinding machine, surface grinding machine, wire cutting machine, machining center, tapping machine etc. The operators with 20 years' rich experience, together with advanced processing equipment, provide a strong and powerful guarantee for the increase of Seton's high-tech products as well as for the quality of the brand.


Raw materials

Our company strictly control the purchase of raw materials, and our suppliers are mainly large and excellently qualified domestic and foreign steel factories, such as Shanghai Baosteel, Fushun Special Steel, Erasteel and Nachi. Besides, we can also purchase the designated raw materials as required. The use of materials is the basic factor of determining the performance of blades, at which point, Seton can make recommendations according to customers' specific application requirements.


Forging

Forging production is the main method of our company to process mechanical parts blank. Forging machinery is used to exert pressure on the metal blank to make it produce plastic deformation, so as to obtain forgings with certain mechanical properties, shapes and sizes. Through forging, cast porosity and other defects on the metal during smelting can be eliminated and the microstructure can be optimized. Meanwhile, since the complete metal flow lines are preserved, the mechanical properties of the forgings are generally better than those of the same material.


Vacuum heat treatment

The heat treatment process is the most important link in mechanical cutting tool production. Our company adopt the advanced vacuum heat treatment technology, which is a new heat treatment technology combined with vacuum technology and heat treatment technology. The whole process is carried out in a vacuum state. Almost all conventional heat treatment involved technologies can be achieved, which greatly improves the heat treatment quality and efficiency. Compared with conventional heat treatment, vacuum heat treatment can realize no oxidation, no decarburization, no carburization, small deformation, high comprehensive mechanical properties, removal of phosphorus on the working surface, degreasing and degassing, thus enabling our cutting tools have better surface quality.


Alloy pressing

In the molding process, tungsten carbide power is filled in and then pressurized by press machine. After demolding, the products with needed shapes and sizes can be obtained.


Alloy sintering

Our company can independently complete the alloy sintering process. Heat the powder products to the sintering temperature and maintain for a certain time (holding time), and then cool them. The final products can satisfy all the requirements of customers for the performance indicators of cutting tools.
