Powerway Alloy is a major manufacturer of various metal alloys and we use our influence to make a significant impact on environmental protection and social responsibility efforts. We are a forward thinking organization and understand the importance of the global benefits of a greener production process. Powerway has heavily invested in upgrading our alloy manufacturing facilities to prevent and control pollution, while adding efficiency measures in an attempt to minimize use of non-renewable resources.
As leading enterprise for building ecologically friendly facilities, Powerway has equipped its factories with advanced technologies that helps shorten the production process through added efficiency. The energy savings and consumption of resources have been enormous since implementation. Our facilities have received certification ISO14001:2004 environment system for their sustainable practices.
The lead-free brass products developed by Powerway have helped to remove the problem of lead precipitation resulting from the production of electronic telecommunications, home appliances, and other products. Nickel-free copper alloy products are a solution for eliminating the damage to human health caused by nickel contained copper alloys. These contaminated products can cause dermatitis forms of cancer with repeated exposure and they are often used in the production of eyeglasses. In addition, Powerway Alloy manufactures silver copper, Cr-Zr-Cu and other high performance alloy materials with excellent machinability, electrical properties and anti-corrosion abilities.
Although we feel as if we have made great strides with the conservation efforts of our factories, we also extend our goals of a green operation to our offices as well. Powerway offices are now almost completely paperless and implement recycling programs.
