Shipyards and dockyards are common places where the hydraulic cylinder is needed. The piston rod of the cylinder can be fastened to various parts of a ship that must be moved. These parts include trolley, crane, safety pin, anchor pin, thruster, latch, and hatch cover.

Several mounting styles are available to allow users to install the cylinder in different locations. The cylinder is almost acceptable by all standards, such as ABS, GL, BV, and CCS.
