Glass Mosaic Tile Installation Tips
1. First, you need to make sure that the construction surface is smooth and clean. After reference lines have been marked, evenly apply the mosaic adhesive or lime slurry on the construction surface and the back of the mosaic glass tiles.
2. Sequentially affix the glass mosaic to the construction surface and leave an appropriate gap between each tiles. Use a batten to press each mosaic tile firmly after it has been stuck on construction surface.
3. Wait until the adhesive is completely dry and then wet the stickers with damp sponge or wet soft cloth before you tear them off.
4. Sealing: use appropriate tools to fully fill the gaps between tiles with mosaic crystal sealant or the original backing adhesive with white cement.
5. Cleaning: use a damp sponge or soft cloth to clean the excess sealant attached to the mosaic tiles. And then, wipe the tiles with dry cloth to complete the construction.
Glass Mosaic Tile Maintenance Tips
1. Avoid heavy objects falling on the mosaic floor tiles.
2. For general cleaning, cleaning detergent and washing powder can be used. For heavy duty cleaning, bathroom cleaner can be used.
3. If the glass mosaic tile falls off or is missing, it can be replaced with a new one of the same specification.
4. Customers who live in cold areas need to take antifreeze measures for their glass mosaic tile flooring.
