Description:

The Button Drill Bits, sometimes called top hole hammer bits, are comprised of a cemented carbide button and bit body.. The cutters of the button bit arrange freely, which can determine the number and locations of the gauge buttons and front buttons reasonably according to the diameter of the drill holes and the rock-breaking load. The diameter of the bits will not be affected.

Button bits are typically used in hydraulic rock drills, which can bore through hard and brittle rock. Additionally, button bits have reasonable quantity and proper location of gauge buttons and front buttons. The special design of the bit can not only improve the drilling speed, but also extend the service life of the button bits. The size and shape can be customized based on user requirements.

To simplify the selection process, XINLE classifies the drill bits according to the diameter of the bit, the bit face configuration and inlay/insertion of tungsten carbide.

The selection of diameter

XINLE offers the diameters of the button bits from 34 mm to 130 mm.

Bit face configuration

XINLE offers button bits having drop center and flat face bit face configuration.

Drop center bit and flat face bit face configuration are two common button bits.

Drop Center Bits are well fit for drilling straighter holes using less abrasive and less consolidated rock at a quicker rate.

Flat face bits are general multipurpose bit that work well in all rock conditions. They have the remarkable performance in hard and abrasive rock conditions.
Inlay of tungsten carbide

Making the right choice of button bits made up of cemented carbide can speed up your productivity.

The button bit with semi ballistic carbide configuration offers faster penetration in softer rock. They are best fit for non-abrasive ground conditions.

Button bits with hemispherical carbide configuration are capable of drilling in hard rock. Although their penetration rate is slower compared with the bits with semi ballistic carbide profile, the life of the bit is longer.
