DOP meter for measuring the degree of polarization (DOP) of a light source
This polarization analysis instrument is designed for measuring the polarization state of collimated free-space light and fiber optic light sources. Utilizing a rotating wave plate method, it achieves a maximum sampling rate of 20 Hz. The polarimeter includes software capable of real-time polarization state display on a Poincaré sphere interface. When paired with the polarization state thermal cycling heater, it can measure the polarization extinction ratio (PER) of narrowband light through fiber heating techniques.
