Air source heat pump with screw compressor for central air conditioning and providing chilled or hot water
Air-cooled screw heat pumps use ambient air as the heat source and water as the transfer medium, delivering both heating and cooling through a single unit. They can replace separate boiler and chiller setups, with hot water temperatures reaching up to 55°C for versatile year-round use. The screw compressor design is paired with a zero-pressure-drop four-way reversing valve, minimizing pressure loss and ensuring reliable switching without the leakage issues found in traditional valves. Equipped with an electronic expansion valve with up to 2,600 regulation steps allows precise control under varying load conditions, optimizing efficiency and maintaining stable operation across a wide range of applications.
- Commercial Buildings
- Ideal for central air conditioning in hotels, shopping malls, and office buildings, delivering centralized heating and cooling. Works with fan coil units or air handling units for semi-centralized temperature control.
- Hotel Hot Water Supply: Provides 24/7 domestic hot water with a COP of up to 4.0, helping reduce operational costs.
- Industrial Sector
- Suitable for temperature control in food processing and pharmaceutical production, as well as reusing waste heat from wastewater.
- Supports constant temperature and humidity in facilities such as heated swimming pools and laboratories.
- District Energy and Distributed Systems
- Can be combined with solar energy or ground-source heat pumps for district-wide heating and cooling, enhancing overall energy efficiency.
- Ultra-low temperature models are suitable for “coal-to-electricity” projects in northern regions, replacing traditional coal-fired boilers.
