CO2 injection pump is not suitable for handling the following media:
- Highly corrosive mixtures: CO₂ mixed with hydrofluoric acid (HF) or concentrated sulfuric acid may corrode pump components
- High-viscosity fluids: When CO₂ is mixed with heavy oil or asphalt, plunger pump efficiency decreases
- Flammable and explosive gases: CO₂ mixed with methane or hydrogen may pose explosion risks
