Xuzheng MIG longitudinal seam welding machines (MIG welder) are typically fabricated for linear seam welding of cylindrical and square shaped parts. They are applicable to gas shielded welding, argon arc welding and other various welding processes.
The hold down fingers are pneumatically actuated for workpiece clamping, to ensure that workpiece surface is fully contacted with copper hold-down strips (copper finger tips), thus welding quality can be guaranteed. Besides, backing gas fixture (trailing gas shield) is equipped to prevent deformation of workpiece during welding process, resulting neat welding seam on both front and back sides.
With PLC controlling, the entire welding process is automatically operated.
These MIG longitudinal seam welding machines are commonly used to weld nearly all kinds of metals, including welding of pure aluminum, aluminum alloy, copper, copper alloy and stainless steel.
