- The fast Ethernet unmanaged media converter is also known as optical-to-electrical medium converter. It enables mutual conversion between 10Base-T/100Base-TX twisted pair electrical signals and 100Base-FX optical signals.
- This network device conforms to IEEE802.3, IEEE802.3u, IEEE802.3z and IEEE802.3ab standards. It supports two types of media network connections including 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, 1000Base-T and 1000Base-SX/LX.
- It can also accomplish mutual conversion between 850nm and 1310nm wavelength. In addition, this product can realize signal trunking so as to extend the transmission distance of signals in multi-mode fiber.
- It is designed to meet industrial standard. When applied to industrial control equipment, this product can extend the transmission distance of control data so as to realize remote control.
- This optical network unit supports SNMP, WEB, TELNET, serial port management, and software upgrade. It can not only supervise working conditions, but also configure the mode of each local media converter in the slot and remote media converter connected to the other side.
- This industrial media converter supports two different kinds of network connection mediums, i.e., 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX. The adoption of switching technology and store-and-forward technology can realize data conversion between these two types of network connection mediums.
- It is a kind of optical transceiver that can meet the needs of multiple fiber optic access networks at present, which greatly improves the flexibility of networks. Also, it enables the transmission distance of a network to be extended from 100m over copper wires to 120km.
- It is divided into 100M type and 1000M type, which contains two fiber ports, four RJ45 ports, and one console port. This ring converter can offer both point-to-point network connection and point-to-multipoint chain network.
- It allows at most 14 standalone fiber media converters in different modes to be directly inserted. Both active and standby power supplies are provided in a centralized manner. They can be automatically switched.
- This converter accessory supports both AC220V and DC-48V power supply modes, which enables the system to be applicable to various working environments. It also allows different types of module cards at different rates to work simultaneously, thus greatly improving the applicability of the system.
- The whole system enables 15 fiber converter module cards and one management card to be inserted. The management module card includes one M830ANC NMS card and one M831AC cascade card.
- This product enables direct insertion of at most 17 unmanaged fiber converter module cards, or one management card with 16 managed fiber converter module cards. Active and standby power supplies are provided in a centralized manner.
