The HHZ02Y secondary reforming catalyst has a quite self-explanatory name, indicating that it is a chemical catalyst for secondary reforming. More specifically, it is a precipitated catalyst that takes advantage of nickel oxide as the active component and aluminum oxide as the carrier.

Technical Requirement
When compared with primary reformers, secondary reformers have a higher operating temperature so as to achieve better methane reforming reaction. Accordingly, the secondary reforming catalyst must possess improved thermal stability because of the potential for temperature excursions in the reactor. Moreover, this high activity catalyst usually works together with our HHZ03Y heat resistant reforming catalyst for better protection, and HHZ03Y shows stable mechanical strength and good thermal stability (up to 1300℃).

Application
This natural gas reforming catalyst is exceptionally suitable for secondary reformers that uses methane-containing gaseous hydrocarbon as raw material, such as natural gas, coke oven gas, associated petroleum gas, etc.
