Application of Stearalkonium Chloride
1. SAMSE 1827 is referred to as Stearalkonium Chloride. It is an antistatic ingredient used in hair-care products, and it was originally developed as a fabric conditioner.
2. As a surfactant, the chemical compound has the function of disrupting the cell processes of microorganisms. It is used as an active ingredient for conditioners, antistatic agent, detergent sanitisers, phase transfer catalyst, antimicrobials, disinfectants, sanitizers, slimicides, algaecide, emulsifying agents, pigment dispersers, and the softeners in textiles and paper products.
