CAS No.: 9003-05-8
Typical Applications: Waste water treatment chemicals, oilfield chemicals

1. Polyacrylamide, abbreviated as PAM, is a commonly used long-chain molecule. It is mostly applied as sewage treatment chemicals. Thus far, this chemical compound has been used in municipal sewage treatment systems and industrial sewage disposal systems, etc.

2. Its function is to gather minute solids in treated water until these solids become large enough to be captured by a filter. Then, sludge is formed. The prominent characteristic allows polyacrylamide to be gradually popular in agriculture industry.

3. The polyacrylamide can seek out and bind to the broken edges of clay particles, which carry a negative charge. By enhancing the cohesiveness of soil particles on the soil surface of a field, it makes soil more resistant to the highly erosive shear forces exerted by water flowing over it.

4. Our company can supply both anionic and cationic polyacrylamide for choice.
