Gear Rack
Jingya provides quality gear racks mainly in 2 series for use as guide rails that elevator cars will ride on. Series 5M measures 40 by 40 by 1508 or 40 by 50 by 1508 in size. The dimensions of Series 8M are 40 by 60 by 1508. Our engineers can develop new specifications to meet the requirements specified on customer-supplied technical drawing.
Constructed from LG60 steel, which contains 60% carbon, Jingya gear rack delivers much higher resistance to wear than one made of C45 steel. While material quality is definitely a critical factor to consider before making a purchase, the machining precision also affects the quality of gear racks.
Did you notice the mounting hole pictured on this page? In the past, the through hole is larger on one side where a bolt nut can be placed and is smaller on the opposite side to facilitate the bolt extending out the hole. The smaller-side hole does not have threads. It receives a bolt which secures the gear rack to the mast section.
Please note that we do not recommend using a 16mm bolt to run through a 17mm-diameter hole, for it will leave too much of a gap which might lead to accumulated error during subsequent installation and commissioning operations. This might also results in abnormal noise and severe wear.
To overcome these said problems, we cuts threads on the inside surface of the mounting hole. In this case, a threaded 16mm bolt can fits tightly in the hole, leaving no gap. This ensures the gear rack does not have side play when mounted to the mast section.
