Raw water is water that is found naturally in the environment, such as rainwater, ground water, lakes, and rivers. While raw water is natural, that does not mean that it is always safe for consumption or use in different industries. Most of the time, raw water must be put through a treatment process and that is why we have developed our chemical dosing package for raw water treatment.

Depending on the type of chemicals used in a specific raw water treatment process, we can further categorize this series of chemical dosing package into four groups.
1. Coagulant injection system
2. Dispersant injection system
3. Acid injection system
4. Base injection system

Built primarily for precise injection of chemical agents to raw water, theDepamu chemical dosing package is comprised of a dosing tank, mixer, metering pump, liquid level gauge, safety valve, pressure gauge, pulsation dampener, valves, motor base, handrails, electrical control, pipes and accessories. Two control modes are available: automatic and manual.

Automatic Control Mode Explained
Putting our chemical dosing system on automatic control, operators can simply leave the metering pump unattended as the system automatically sends signals indicating flow rate, PH, and opacity to the PLC, host computer, or DCS. Based on these real-time data, the central control system then tells the pump to adjust its rotary speed and stroke to meet the ideal set-point.

All signals concerning the operating status and faults of metering pumps and mixers can be sent to the DCS or host computer which in turn tells the pump to either stop or start. The advanced electrical enclosure provides three control modes: manual, semi-automatic, and automatic. Dosing tanks can be made in 316 stainless steel, 304 stainless steel, carbon steel, rubber lined steel, glass reinforced steel, PE, PP, or PVC.
