The customer encountered a problem in measuring engine valve rods. According to the valve rod type and accuracy, traditional measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, etc. are used to measure shaft roundness and diameter. They could not match customer's need for measuring accuracy.
Traditional touch measuring method have inevitably some disadvantages that will affect measuring accuracy such as easy fatigability, low speed, high cost, etc. Comparatively, our optical measuring technology provides unparalleled superiority over traditional measuring equipment. It can realize continuous and precise measurement. The permitted tolerance on valve rod measurement has reached micron grade. Therefore, micrometer can not meet the tolerance requirement.
