Kalux Series

Industrial spray booths for car refinishing

The Kalux series is the high-class option in this line of automotive paint booths. It has stronger airflow, a cleaner interior layout and better lighting, which makes the workspace more comfortable for technicians handling detailed refinishing work.

Downdraft automotive paint booths are useful for car refinishing because the air flows cleanly and directly from the ceiling to the floor. The air flows in one direction from the ceiling to the floor, which keeps the temperature more stable and makes it easier to paint and cure. Thanks to the airflow moving downward, overspray and solvent vapors leave the paint booth faster, which keeps the painted surface clean and makes the area safer for the operators. Side-draft booths usually need more energy to reach the same result. A downdraft booth can use about 20–30% less because the heat stays in the area where the work is done instead of spreading around. The initial investment is higher, but the paint finish on the vehicle is more uniform, rework is reduced, and the technicians can move through the process with more ease.
