Applications

Gravity disc filters are mainly used for the concentration of low concentration pulp in paper mills. Gravity disc filters is suitable for the concentration of mechanical wood pulp and waste paper pulp with a low freeness and short fiber.

Features

Unlike vacuum disc filters there are no requirements for an equipment installation height.
The gravity disc filter’s rotation speed and the pulp concentration can be controlled by the DCS, which features a high degree of automation, convenient operation and only requires personnel inspection.
With a reliable production capacity, the maximum processing capacity of one device can reach up to1000 TPD.
The filter features a low power consumption with only one motor, and the motor power is no more than 30 kW.
The filter sectors are welded by stainless steel, which is convenient to assemble and disassemble, and the sectors can filter the fine fibers, chemical solutes and fillers in the pulp.
