Power transmission unit for speed control in glass lined reactors
Reducers are used to drive the agitator inside a glass lined reactor. It adjusts the rotating speed; transfers torque and ensures stable operation of the mixing process.
Reducer Types
- Cycloidal speed reducer
- Vertical helical gear reducer
- Horizontal bevel gear reducer
- Parallel shaft helical gear reducer
Working Principle
Speed reducers are widely used in applications where low speed and high torque are required. In operation, the input shaft receives power from motors, combustion engines, or other high-speed rotating equipment. A small gear on the input shaft engages with a larger gear on the output shaft, reducing speed while increasing torque. The ratio between the number of teeth on the gears determines the transmission ratio. Most reducers are built with multiple gear sets that allow them to run smoothly and provide reliable performance under a variety of operating conditions.
Compatible Components
1. Motors
- Standard motors, including explosion-proof designs
