CNC busbar bending machines are used to form precise bends at the ends of copper or aluminum busbars. Busbars often need this kind of bending before they can be connected with joints, connectors, or other components used in electrical distribution equipment.
During the bending operation, busbar bars are positioned in the bending area and the required bending angle and dimensions are set through the control interface. The CNC control system manages the pressing force and bending movement so that the busbar ends are formed in a single operation. The bending process keeps the contact surfaces parallel so the busbar can connect properly with the connector.
