Hydraulic busbar bending machines with a double-head design are used to bend both ends of copper or aluminum busbars for busbar trunking systems, busducts, and other power distribution equipment. They are usually used after cutting and before the next assembly process, especially when both ends of the busbar need matching bends.

With one bending unit at each end of the machine, both sides of the busbar can be processed in the same setup. Instead of stopping to turn the busbar and line it up again after each bend, the operator can complete the process with less handling and fewer interruptions. The bending force comes from a hydraulic system, helping keep the forming process stable when the same bend needs to be repeated on multiple busbars.
