The standard material configuration for our DTH drill pipes is as follows:
- Tool joints: 42CrMo alloy steel
- Pipe body: R780 steel
Other material combinations can be customized based on specific application requirements.
Drill pipe length is typically selected according to the drilling rig specifications and operating conditions. Common standard lengths include 1.5m, 3m, and 6m. Custom lengths can also be manufactured upon request.
To extend service life and maintain reliable performance, we recommend the following maintenance practices:
- Apply an appropriate amount of thread grease to the joints before each use
- Clean the drill pipes after operation to remove mud and debris
- Inspect drill pipes regularly and promptly repair or replace damaged or deformed components
- Store drill pipes away from heavy loads and high-humidity environments to prevent deformation and corrosion
Leveraging many years of global field experience to provide perfectly matched drilling tools, drill rigs, and air compressors for your toughest projects.
