99.5% purity medical oxygen generation system uses ambient air that meets medical cleanliness requirements as the feed gas. A complete process covering feed air pretreatment, dual-stage PSA adsorption separation, oxygen post-treatment, and intelligent safety assurance enables stable production of oxygen with purity up to 99.5%.

Process Description
- Precise feed air pretreatment for high-purity oxygen production
Medical-grade low-noise air compressors raise ambient air pressure to 0.6-0.8MPa, matching the optimal adsorption pressure range of molecular sieve. Multi-stage purification removes particulate matter ≥1μm, reduces air dew point to ≤-40°C through freeze drying, and limits residual oil content to ≤0.1mg/m³, meeting strict medical oxygen cleanliness requirements and preventing molecular sieve degradation. - Primary PSA adsorption enables initial oxygen enrichment
Clean compressed air enters the first-stage PSA adsorber. Under controlled pressure, molecular sieve preferentially adsorbs nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and trace inert gases based on kinetic adsorption differences. Oxygen passes through the adsorbent bed to form oxygen with purity of 93%±2%. Alternating adsorbers perform depressurization and regeneration. PLC-controlled switching cycles of approximately 120 seconds ensure continuous oxygen output. - Secondary PSA purification achieves oxygen purity above 99.5%
Oxygen produced by the first-stage PSA enters the second-stage PSA purification unit filled with high-selectivity medical molecular sieve. Under optimized pressure conditions of 0.4-0.5MPa, residual nitrogen, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, and trace impurities are further removed. Oxygen purity is stably increased to 99.5% or higher, fully complying with GB8982-2009 standards for medical and aviation breathing oxygen, including CO ≤5ppm, NOx ≤2ppm, and moisture ≤0.07g/m³. - Medical-grade oxygen post-treatment ensures safety and adaptability
High-purity oxygen passes through medical-grade sterilizing filters with filtration accuracy of 0.22μm to remove microorganisms and aerosols. Intelligent pressure regulation controls outlet pressure within 0.1-0.5MPa to match requirements of general wards, anesthesia machines, and intensive care equipment. Flow stabilization devices maintain oxygen supply fluctuation within ±5% to support both low-flow and high-flow medical oxygen therapy. - Full-process intelligent monitoring builds operational reliability
Integrated 5G remote monitoring modules continuously track oxygen purity, pressure, flow rate, and adsorber operating status. Audible and visual alarms are triggered when oxygen purity drops below 99% or abnormal pressure conditions occur. Emergency oxygen storage units consisting of high-pressure tanks and manifolds automatically provide backup supply during maintenance or power interruptions, ensuring uninterrupted oxygen availability for critical medical applications.
