Semi-automatic busbar assembly lines are designed for busbar assembly work that combines manual riveting with assisted handling between stations. Standard semi-automatic assembly line includes three main stations, which are pre-assembly, automatic turning, and accessory assembly. At the pre-assembly station, operators first put the busbar parts together and secure them with tooling. The busbar is then moved to the turning station, where it is clamped in place for riveting. One side is riveted manually first, after which the busbar is turned 180° so the second side can be riveted in the same way. Once riveting is completed, the busbar moves to the accessory assembly station for the installation of busbar accessories.
