Turnbuckle for Steel Framed Building
The turnbuckle, also known as stretching screw or bottlescrew, is arope tensioner with retractable bolts. It is used to tie the delivered parts in the transport, and also used for correcting tightness during installation. It has an eye bolt and a hook bolt, one with left-hand thread and the other with right-hand thread.
This rope tightener is fixed with ananti-theft locking device, which consists of the cover, mounting plate, and guiding board. To unscrew the anti-theft bolt, the user must use a special bushing. There is no need to remove the anti-theft locking device after unscrewing it. Slide it with the guiding board along the lever for some distance, then the tool is available to use.
Specification
The turnbuckle is a cast steel piece. The design calculation only involves the corresponding bolt, but the specification of the tool should be greater than that of the bolt. The followings are commonly used specifications:
