Characteristics
The raw silk, also named white steam filature yarn, is the natural protein fiber yarn reeled from cocoons. It mainly has the following characteristics:
1. pliable touch
2. good elasticity
3. good moisture absorbing ability
4. easy to be colored
Application
The raw silk serves as the raw material for the production of silk clothes, knitted underwear and strings. It can be twisted into threads, and the threads can be woven in different warps and wefts to make crepe, georgette, habotai, silk fabric, etc. These fabrics made from the white steam filature yarn are good to human health.
Customers' Preference
Our target customers are mainly fabric manufacturers or distributors who source raw materials from overseas. The fine cocoons and sophisticated workmanship distinguished our raw silk from those of Viet Nam and India. For many years, our filature silk has been well-received among the fabric manufacturers worldwide. Southeast Asian customers mostly prefer 3A and 4A grades, while European customers tend to like superior grades of 5A and 6A.
Quality Guarantee
Our silkworm cocoons are all sourced from the silk-abundant region south to the Yangtze River. The climate there is mild, which is ideal for the silkworms’ growth. The cocoons spun by the silkworms there are full and thick, with a high silk yield. After our treatment, the raw silk can be above 3A standard. Before shipping, all the silk will be sent for the quality test of the inspection and quarantine bureau. We only export approved products with the certificate from the bureau.
Purchasing Guide
1. Specification: according to customers’ needs, we produce 20/22D, 27/29D, 40/44D, 50/70D silk yarns.
2. Package: by rush mat or standard paper carton.
3. Minimum order quantity: 10 packs, or 600 kg.
