Fibre Optic Fusion Splicer
Request a Quote

The fibre optic fusion splicer usually makes use of high-voltage electric arc to fuse two bare fiber ends (with coating removed), and then gently pushes them together to form one fiber on the basis of collimation principle. In this way, light will pass though fibers without being scattered or reflected back by the splice.

Application
Our fiber fusion splicers are generally classified into single fiber fusion splicer and ribbon fusion splicer, and they are mainly used for:
1. Construction, maintenance and urgent repair of fiber-optic lines (for telecom operators, engineering companies and public institutions)
2. Production and inspection of fiber optic devices (in corresponding manufacturing plants)
3. Scientific research and teaching (in schools and labs)

Available Model
At present, there are three models of fibre optic fusion splicer available here, which are Fujikura 70S fusion splicer, Fujikura 70R ribbon fusion splicer and AV6471 fusion splicer. 70S and 70R are imported from Japan, and they possess higher stability, making them suitable for telecom operators. On the other hand, AV6471 is made in China, and it is cheaper thus fits for small constriction projects.

Aside from these products, we could also provide various preparation tools, such as optical fiber cleaver and fiber cleaving tool kit, to help users make better preparation for fusion splicing.
