This system includes a control box, sensor arm, traverse arm, cable and springs as well as safety and crash prevention features.
Due to the terrain, barns and houses, or other obstacles, the pivot system may not be able to make a full circle. The auto reverse and stop system automatically makes the pivot stop and reverse when encountering such obstacles. If any of the towers runs into an obstacle the automatic pivot system will stop to avoid collision. The reverse and stop system works well for large-scale automatic irrigation in fields and only requires one person who can oversee multiple pivots at the same time.
