Our AC80 vector control drive adopts the world leading vector control algorithm. The stator current of the motor is decomposed into torque current and excitation current according to the coordinates, to make the control characteristics of AC motors paralleled with those of DC motors. Applications on a treadmill will have the following characteristics:

1. In open-loop mode, 180% of the rated torque will provided at 0.50Hz. With full load (people standing on the treadmill), the treadmill can start smoothly from zero speed.

2. High carrier quiet operation. The highest carrier frequency that can be provided by the AC80 inverter is16kHz, completely eliminating the electromagnetic squeal when an induction motor is using a frequency inverter.

3. Wide speed adjustment range. Generally, the treadmill requires a speed adjustment range of 1:20. The range of AC80 vector control drive can be up to 1:40, far beyond the general requirement.

4. The special undervoltage protection better protects the runner from getting injured at sudden power outage. The undervoltage protection point can be flexibly set. When the voltage is lower than the protection point, the inverter will not stop due to the undervoltage fault. Through active deceleration, the motor becomes a generator and the energy is reclaimed by the inverter. In this way, the motor gradually slows down and stops.

5. Standard RS485 communication interface. The ability to communicate with the controller greatly simplifies the wiring and control. The keypad has parameter copy function to facilitate the commissioning.
