Frequency Inverter Dedicated for Wood Veneer Lathe
Our frequency inverter dedicated for wood veneer lathe should be used together with the dedicated control box. Through the encoder, the diameters of logs are measured, the forward speed of drive roller and peeling blade is calculated, and thus the output frequency of the inverter is determined. The forward speed follows the changes in diameter, and the peeling thickness will always stay in line with the set value, with deviation of less than ± 1%.
When the diameter reaches the bottom value according to the settings, the drive roller and peeling blade will automatically move back. The purpose of the motion is to put an end to the possible collision with the fixed drive roller due to improper operations. Meanwhile, the mechanism makes the best use of logs by peeling them to the greatest extent.
