Application
The energy saving dehumidifying drying system plastic resin dryer is specifically applicable to the high efficiency dehumidification operation of engineering plastics. It is widely applied to injection molding, extrusion, plastic molding and processing and many other industries, as indispensable dehumidifying drying equipment for the production of plastic products in their earlier stage. The saving dehumidifying drying system is suitable for all kinds of plastic materials that need be dehumidified and dried, including PET, TPU, PMMA, PLA, SGP, PS, ABS etc.

Heat preservation drying hopper

① 80mm thick insulation layer observation door, convenient monitoring.
② Wrapped with 80mm thick aluminum silicate cotton preserves the heat within and saves energy.
③ Anti-eccentric feeding device, uniform blanking, no material fault and single side blanking.

Heat recovery unit

The box is a thermal energy converter with a copper tube super sheet composite design, which effectively guarantees a smooth flow within the air duct and improves the recovery rate of heat energy.

Principle
The high temperature air returned from the drying hopper creates a heat sink with the low temperature air that will enter the heating box. The return air is returned from the A2 to the dehumidifier from the A1 through the heat recovery unit. Meanwhile, the dry air enters the heating box from the B2 through the heat recovery unit from B1. The temperature of the returned high temperature air is reduced, and the temperature of the low temperature air entering into the heating box is increased, so as to achieve the purpose of heat recovery and minimizing energy consumption.


Feeder

The HF feeder series is equipped with a high efficiency vacuum pump with a delivery capacity of up to 1200 kg/h, the maximum conveying distance of 100 meters. It is configured with a cylinder filter which is tightly structured and combines the cyclone effect with dust separation, and is especially suitable for the delivery of dust laden materials

Why should you use the dehumidifying drying system?
Most engineering plastics and plastic alloy granules contain moisture content to varying degrees, and the moisture content is distributed on the surface of and inside plastic granules. If plastic granules are not properly dried, then the intrinsic quality and appearance quality of plastic products will be affected, while the processing will be more difficult. The intrinsic quality of plastic products is manifest in the significant decrease of its performance, the increase of the internal stress, easy cracking, the promotion of the polymer’s hydrolysis and degradation; the appearance quality in product yellowing, bubbling, defect, silver, markings, as well as the decrease of transparency, product cracking, inaccurate size, poor viscosity.

The presence of moisture, in injection molding and extrusion molding process results in the irregular fluctuation of the plastic melt apparent viscosity, the melt pasting passageway, occasional severe salivation, thus causing difficulties in molding. For most engineering plastics and plastic alloys, strict drying is particularly important, especially for recycled plastics, after washing, granulation and other regeneration processes, of which the moisture content is much higher than standard, and more stringent drying is needed.
